However, one thing should be stated in advance: Our products have been completely free of TPO for many years.

In Switzerland, a sales and use ban for all cosmetic products containing TPO (trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide) will come into effect on September 1, 2025.

TPO is a photoinitiator that was often used in gels and gel lacquers. Due to its classification as a CMR substance category 1B (may have reproductive toxicity), it is completely banned from this date.

What does that mean if you also have such products from other suppliers?

Products containing TPO may still be used and sold until August 31, 2025.

From September 1st, 2025, the sale and use of such products will no longer be permitted.

What should you do now?

Check your stock for products containing TPO. (All our products are TPO-free.)

Plan your switch to our TPO-free products in good time.
